Country Library’s Catastrophe Readiness Clearinghouse will exhibit at the
annual Long Island Library Conference. The
Conference, to be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 8am – 3:30pm at the Crest
Hollow Country Club, is an educational forum for
those who work in and for
libraries, providing informational programs and networking opportunities to
improve the quality of the public, special, school and university libraries of Long Island. The Allstate Readiness Display will offer copies
of the Readiness Booklet for Libraries,
brochures about the Clearinghouse, and booklets, pamphlets,
tip sheets and
check lists related to all aspects of preparedness at home and in the workplace. The Catastrophe Readiness website will be online
at the conference @ www.catastrophereadinessclearinghouse.org.
